A Lido Key home
for the way you want to live

Lido Key is barrier-island living at its most refined, a short walk from the Gulf and from St. Armands Circle. Trinity builds and renovates here the way the best island homes are built: modeled in full before ground breaks, budgeted in the open so you see where every dollar sits, and a builder on your site every day. Our Lido Rose, designed with CMSA Architects, is one of the most awarded homes we have built.

What it takes to
build well on Lido Key

The setting is the whole appeal, and it is also what makes building here a different job than building inland. Lido Key is a barrier island off Sarasota, framed by the Gulf, Big Pass, and Sarasota Bay, where homes sit in a coastal flood zone and are elevated and engineered for surge before anyone draws a floor plan. Lots are tight and walkable to St. Armands, staging is limited, and the work happens close to neighbors and the water.

None of that is a reason to compromise. It is a reason to plan harder. We model the home in BIM and SketchUp before buyout, so conflicts surface on a screen instead of in the field. We keep full-time supervision on site, so the sequence holds and the trades stay coordinated. And we build for the long run on the coast, because an island home is only as good as the way it is built to stand where it sits.

At the 2025 Aurora Awards it won a Grand Aurora for Best Custom Home in its size class, plus Silvers for Best Bath Design and Best Interior Detailing on a home over one million dollars. Custom Size – 1

A new beachfront home near Lido Beach, and a milestone for Trinity: the home that proved what our team could do on new construction. We were brought on mid-project and delivered it to the standard the site deserved. It was later featured in Sarasota Magazine. See Sand Dune House.

A Lido renovation on Tyler Drive

Architect: CMSA Architects | Interiors: Pecky Design | Renovation

A full renovation on Lido Key with CMSA Architects and interiors by Pecky Design, and proof that the Trinity standard holds on a remodel as firmly as on new construction. From the ground up or down to the studs, the discipline is the same.

It was named Best in Show at the 2024 Aurora Awards, the top honor across every custom home entered, along with the Grand Aurora for Best Custom Home of 5,000 to 10,000 square feet and a Silver for Best Kitchen Design, and in 2025 it was named an SRQ Home of the Year. Minutes from Lido, it shows the standard Trinity holds across these islands.

Bay Perfection

Architect: MHK Architects | Interiors: Trinity Design | New construction, St. Armands

Trinity Custom Homes luxury home at twilight on Florida's Gulf Coast

On North Washington Drive, Bay Perfection is a coastal-contemporary home Trinity built with MHK Architects and Trinity Design, angled to follow the line of Sarasota Bay so the main rooms open square to the water rather than the street. It is the kind of move that only works when the design is protected through construction.

The same standard,
set from the start

Every Lido Key home Trinity builds runs on the same disciplines. Open-book budgeting, so you see where your money goes and the contingency is a visible line, not a surprise. BIM-driven framing standards the trades build against. Full-time on-site supervision, not a project manager checking in between other jobs. It is the part of building that does not photograph, and it is the part that protects the home you can see.

The architects and designers
we build alongside

The best Lido Key homes come from talented professionals collaborating without ego. Trinity builds alongside the architects and designers our clients already trust, including CMSA Architects and DSDG Architects, with interiors by partners such as Blank Canvas Design Group, JKL Design, Pecky Design, and our own Trinity Design. We protect design intent and bring the construction expertise that makes it real.
