Dominic obtained his master’s degree in architecture from the University of South Florida and spent over a decade designing high-end custom homes and stellar commercial projects for a respected Tampa architectural firm. Dominic also operated his own design firm in Tampa, along with his wife, Kristina, focused on era-inspired historic and contemporary home building. The two have three children. They relocated to Sarasota, where they first met, and Dominic earned his contractor’s license.
When Dominic is not focused on design or construction, he is usually outdoors with family at the BMX track, the skatepark, or the beach, or looking for that hidden secret camping spot for a weekend retreat.
Since joining Trinity in 2022, Dominic Furlano has employed his dual background in architecture and construction to help designers and field-trades teams work confidently together to deliver beautifully crafted homes.
Dominic grew up in the rural area south of Buffalo, NY, where he worked with his family framing homes, driving semi trucks, and running heavy machinery—all while idolizing his master-welder grandfather. He attributes his first interest in art and architecture to his grandmother, who explained what an architect does when he was just 8 years old. From that moment on, he knew he wanted to become both a master builder and architect.
