Ranch & Estate Homes
Room to build the life the country was made for

East and inland of Sarasota, on acreage and ranch land, Trinity builds bespoke estates for the way you actually want to live out here. We built Origami House on 17 acres in Myakka Valley Ranches: open books, a model that runs months ahead of the jobsite, and a builder on your site every day.

Built for land, privacy, and permanence

Ranch and estate living east and inland of Sarasota is its own world: acreage, privacy, equestrian and agrarian character, and homes that answer to the land rather than the street. Building out here rewards a builder who can handle scale, distance, and a genuinely bespoke program.

Trinity does the work before the work. The home is modeled and coordinated long before ground breaks, so a remote site is managed once, correctly, from foundation to finish.

A forever home in the country

Origami House, Myakka Valley Ranches

Architect: DSDG Architects  |  Interiors: By Owner  |  New construction, 3,300 sq ft on 17 acres

Origami House is a uniquely shaped home nestled on 17 acres in Myakka Valley Ranches, designed by DSDG Architects for a client moving from bayfront living to the country. A single 90-degree corner in the structure drives the home’s sculptural roof lines and gives the home its name. It is among the most challenging homes in our portfolio to build, and every detail was analyzed and laid out before construction to hold accuracy in the field. Origami House earned the 2024 SRQ Home of the Year Platinum award for Best Home under $2M, along with a Silver for Best Overall Kitchen.

An active estate, building in public

Airport Dream House, Myakka City

A custom home and aircraft hangar on Bald Eagle Airfield, a 50-acre private airstrip in the ranch country east of Sarasota. Architect: DSDG Architects. Interior design: Trinity Design.

The owner, YouTube creator Cleetus McFarland, is documenting the entire build for an audience of millions in his Airport Dream House series, which makes it one of the most publicly visible custom projects in the region. A home and hangar on a working airfield is exactly the scale and coordination the ranch and estate buyer is looking for: large acreage, a remote site, and a build planned tightly from the first day. Trinity runs it the way it runs every project, the home and the hangar modeled and coordinated ahead of the field, the budget in the open, and a builder on site throughout. Estates across the region, in the ground and on the boards

Origami House is one of several estates Trinity has built or is building beyond the coast. We are currently designing a large estate on Gerry Road in Fruitville with PSDW, and we have built a private ranch estate in Arcadia, designed by Jones Architecture with Wolf Design Group, for a client who values discretion. That home sits on a 6,000-acre working ranch, where building well meant coordinating access, logistics, and trades across a remote site at a scale most builders never take on. Whether the site is acreage in Myakka, ranch land in Arcadia, or an estate parcel in Fruitville, the approach holds: open books, the home built twice in the model before it is built in the field, and a Trinity builder on site every day.

The architects and designers we build with

The best estates come from a true collaboration between builder and designer. Trinity has built alongside DSDG Architects and Jones Architecture, with interior partners including Wolf Design Group, and works with firms such as PSDW on the estates now in design. We protect design intent, bring construction expertise that improves durability and execution where conditions are demanding, and treat the clients our design partners refer to us as our own.

Questions ranch and estate buyers ask

Does Trinity build ranch and estate homes?
Yes. Trinity builds large-acreage ranch and estate homes east and inland of Sarasota, including the homes featured above.

How much does it cost to build a ranch or estate home?
It depends on the land, the size, and the level of finish, which is exactly why Trinity budgets in the open from the first conversation, so you see where every dollar sits at every point in the build.

How long does a custom estate take to build?
Most Trinity homes run on a multi-year arc from design through completion, with the home modeled and coordinated months before ground breaks so the schedule holds, even on remote acreage.

Will you work with our architect?
Yes. Trinity builds alongside your architect and interior designer, protecting the design intent while bringing construction expertise that improves execution, durability, and performance.
