We have recently added a few new team members to our “meet our team” section of our website so we thought this was as good of time as any to do a blog showcasing some of the “top brass” at Trinity Construction and Design.

Everyone involved with Trinity Construction (customers and staff alike) knows Michael Cocozza, the president and owner of Trinity Construction. Mike grew up right here in Sarasota, FL on job sites working with his father and twin brother Jesse. Due to the persistence and dedication to detail allowed Mike and Trinity Constructions work to be featured in numerous home builder and home design magazines and some of the carpentry work has been the crown jewel of some of the areas most notable luxury homes. Michael credits his success to God, family, team and his clients. His father often told him while he was working in the family business that “you’ll never be any better than your client’s perception of you and you’ll only ever be as good as your worst subcontractor.” These often heard quotes are the foundation of Trinity Construction & Design’s Success.

Vice President at Trinity Construction and Design is Kyle Haughey. Kyle graduated from The University of Florida (UF), earning a degree in computer sciences. Kyle’s experience ranges from PricewaterhouseCoopers to AFTCO, specializing in business development, commercial real estate and business consulting and has also been a realtor in the area for almost 20 years. Kyle first met Mike back in the 90s when they worked on a home remodel together, bringing a condemned home down to the foundation then building it back as new construction. The relationship between the two never ended and Kye officially joined the Trinity Construction and Design team last year in 2020. Kyle has various roles here roles at Trinity, but his personal favorites are networking with trade partners and helping the client to make a dream home reality.
